It's been too long!

I've finally decided to write a new post after thinking about it for the last 3 months but never quite getting there. It's terrible I feel guilty for not doing them because I want this to be something the boys can read later when they've grown into men which I hope will be really special for them.

We've just had a lovely weekend with my parents coming to visit to have our christmas with them as they'll be heading over to my sisters new house for christmas day. The boys love having them visit. They also got to start their christmas present opening and love what they got. Enough to keep them entertained for the week. We had a lovely day out at Speers Point parkland yesterday. It is really an amazing park and has so much for the kids to do. Dad says it's the best park he's ever seen. Lucky for us we live very close. We will head there again for Luca's 1st b'day.

So what's been happening then in the last three months. The boys are all growing up very quickly. Lucas is crawling everywhere and getting very quick. His cheekiness is coming out and when I try and grab him for a nappy he'll crawl away quickly and look back at me and smile. He's also been doing this very funny face squinting his face up. Makes us laugh everytime! He's been sick alot in the past month and half which was very tiring. Two ear infections plus teething makes for trying times. Lucas is eating well and some nights sleeping through. The last two nights he has. I think because he is finally not sick or teething at the moment. Greatfully I have had a very good nights sleep last night. I needed it after having two nights before with not much sleep at all. He's also started saying Mum alot. It's been Dadda for so long now. It's nice hearing him say Mum. It will be Lucas's first christmas this week which is exciting. Then not long after his 1st birthday. REally can't believe he is nearly one. It has gone so quickly. Before I know it I won't have a baby anymore. First for me for a long time. I wonder how I'll feel. Maybe relief but I really do enjoy them when they're babies. Everything is precious they're really quite delightful. I think i'll enjoy abit more freedom back though.

William has grown alot too in the last 6mths going from a toddler into more of a boy. Talking very well and saying very funny things. Other morning in out bed we were talking about christmas and Will said I want christmas time I said I know you do he's taking awhile isn't he Will said I don't like Santa anymore. It was quite funny. Jack and Will are great little mates playing everything together. It's so great they have that little playmate and soon they'll have three of them once Lucas can interact more. They still fight alot over things which is normal but overall they play well together. I can tell they'll have a great relationship when they're older. Well I hope. I think Lucas and Jack will too they seem to bond quite well whereas at the moment William doesn't like Lucas. We know this because he tells us. It's just that jelousy thing whereas Jack doesn't get jelous of him. Will is now starting to use the toilet he pretty much started this on his own wanting to copy Jack. Sometimes he'll go off when he knows he needs to go other times not so great luckily this carpet is cheap. This christmas for Will is going to be good because he's older and understands more.

Jack is now very much a boy. He recently had his 4th birthday. I took the boys to an indoor playcentre for the actual day. That was alot for me because i hadn't taken them there on my own before but it was fine they had a great day and I got to sit and have a nice lunch which doesn't happen too often. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too good on the weekend of his birthday so we didn't end up doing what we'd planned but the weekend before I took the boys to Sydney for a few days and Jack had abit of a party at my Mums.
Jack is going well at preschool and still really enjoys going and playing with his little friends. He seems to have a couple of best friends. One of them Max is very cute. It's a shame we are not wanting to send Jack to a school in this area where he could go to big school with the same friends I think it would help. He'll definately miss them. He's still got one more year though till then.
Jack's latest thing is he wants to be first at everything. Wants me to give his food first, get him out of bath first etc etc. Think this started from preschool.

We've had weekends going to the beach together which has been really nice. Unfortunately we haven't had alot of hot weather though. Hoping next month we get to utilise living so close to the beach now. The boys love going and Jack is slowly getting his confidence up in the water.

We also had a camping trip away to Budgewoi in October. It started off not so great with a big storm and torrential rain which had us coming home for a night then going back down to clean everything up. Luckily it didn't rain too much after that. The boys had a great time. The loved the big jumping pillow. Kept them entertained for hours luckily for us. Jack also made some good friends who were all quite abit older but they loved looking after Jack and Will. When we came home Jack kept asking to go see his friends. Good to go in school holidays because they have all the activities on for the kids. We also had Rachael, Patrick and Adam come stay for a night. The boys had great fun playing together. Us adults had a nice night watching Bridesmaids together and eating chocolate once the boys had all gone to sleep. It was really nice. Gee it's alot of work going camping though. The packing and unpacking and the never ending work when your there but the boys do love it so we do it. I think next time we might try another park down that way that might be abit better with a pool hopefully.

The countdown is on till Christmas now. Have a busy week ahead finishing up christmas shopping. Looking forward to it though having our first christmas at home just with our little family. Can't wait to see the boys opening they're presents and enjoying our lunch together before heading over to poppy's and nanna faye's for dinner and seeing Natalie, Brad and Julia.

Well I wish everyone a lovely christmas filled with lots of love and laughter and the best for the New Year too. xxx

The people I love!

Gee it's been ages again since my last post. I feel it's been hard to get back to it for numerous reasons. We got the new laptop but I seem to lose it oh every time hubby gets home from work so that only leaves during the day which means no time to get into it. I've also felt lack of motivation to do it even though really it takes no time at all once I start. The other reason is if I don't keep little notes on what they've been saying and doing once I go to write it I can't remember. Anyway so here's my best shot.

The boys have all been good and well. Well fairly well other then all of them including me having abit of a cold at the moment. They've been keeping me on my toes as per usual and Jack and Will getting cheekier by the day.

Jack is ready for christmas already!
He saw this up in our linen cupboard and wanted to put it on.
Jack is showing lots of attitude lately with the looks (he copies me with this one) and the talking back. If you tell him he will have to go to his room if he has misbehaved he'll say well you'll have to go to your room. Or even demanding like last night said to Dad get off that computer Dad I'm going to watch my movie. I said excuse me Jack that is Daddy and Mummy's computer (he'll say no it's every ones) and you don't talk like that to Dad. I'm getting better with following through with him sitting on the stairs for the full three minutes with no talking the only problem is when Jack sits there Will won't leave him alone and it becomes abit of a game. Sometimes you only have yourself to blame because you don't realise how you talk at times and they copy you. Even one day when I picked Jack up from daycare his teacher said gee he's got a temper. She said she told him to stop doing something and he folded his arms and gave her the frowning look stamping his feet. Honestly there is too many things he gets from me as I'm the outspoken loud one in this house. It's a worry!

Jack also likes to help me like pushing the pram and he'll say I want to be your hero. So sweet! I'll say you are my hero darling.

He's getting really good with talking in conversation now and able to discuss different things. Yesterday we were talking about people getting old he asked if I'm getting old and what happens. He said then you go to heaven. I said yes everyone gets old and then will die and go to heaven. He said will you I said yes. He said will I, I said yes but you've got a long, long, long, long time till then and so goes Mummy. He asked what happens when people get old. I said people get old and their bodies just stop working the way they did when they were younger. Anyway it the first real conversation we've had about something like this. Actually when I was down staying at Kim's on the weekend and the boys rang to say hello we were on the phone for ages talking to Jack. Kim said that's the longest she's ever spoken to him.

What else with Jack. He is now going to the toilet really well no problems with the number two anymore thank god.

He is the oldest but the one that wakes some nights and will come down to me. He also only last night before he came down to me he went into Lucas's room to find his dummy but didn't find it. Then when he woke again this morning went in there luckily Lucas was already awake. Will is now reaching the door handles so he went into Lucas the other day but Lucas hadn't gone to sleep yet.

He's been getting really good with riding his big boy bike. We took the boys down the park couple of weekends ago. Ben took the bike trailer and we took the boys bikes. Had to take two cars down just to take it all. The boys had fun riding in the trailer and Jack had a ride of his bike. He went really well. It's hard where we live because it's so hilly everywhere so he can only ride it if we take it down the park.

I'm in the kitchen and Jack just came in and said I'm a big boy like Adam. We had Aunty Rachael, Uncle Patrick and Adam stay on Sunday night just passed and the boys absolutely loved having them here and playing with Adam. Jack loves his big cousin. Often different things he has he'll say is this Adams because Rachael has given him so many of his things.

Will eating his porridge!
Will is also getting much better with his talking. Yesterday we were driving to pick up Jack from preschool and Will said Jack isn't talking to me Mum and I said that's because he isn't in the car. He then said it again so I said why he said cause.
I was singing last week and he said stop that Mummy. I said don't you like my singing he said no. Nothing like a child to put you back in your place.

Will is very funny about noise. He'll say all the time what's that noise or that's noisy. He's sensitive to alot of things but I don't think it's unusual that one of them would be as I have always been a very sensitive person to alot of things as is Ben to some things.

Apparently Will only loves Daddy too. Firstly Jack and I were saying to Will Do you love Mummy he said yes,  do you love Jack yes, do you love Daddy yes then do you love Lucas no. He is not fond of Lucas at all. Hopefully improves as they get older. But then when you asked him after this he said no to everyone he just says no I love Daddy! Excuse me Daddy can start changing your nappies, bathing you & doing everything else then. Jack is more of Mummies boy and Will is a Daddy's boy. It is sweet though Daddy likes it I think.

Ben was asleep and Will was in our room playing quietly whilst
I was in the kitchen. I then went to check on Will and found him
asleep.
Jack and Will are playing better and better together although still fighting over things and hit each other. Don't think this one will change for a very long time. They are playing more make believe games now as Jack gets older and is able to make up things and bring Will along. Jack has just asked me to put the light on in the garage to play in my car because he is going to school with Daddy and he is Adam.

The other night they were wrestling and it was so funny watching Will. He runs really funny and just jumps on Jack and Jack was laughing his head off. We say Will is going to be a wrestler while Jack is the boxer.

What can I say my sweet sweet angel who doesn't like vegies!
Lucas said Dadda for the first time on Wednesday. He had just woken up when I was getting him up and he said it. Excuse me but why is it not Mummy who does everything for him. Anyway very cute I rang Ben to tell him. He heard it for the first time this morning. Lucas is also going to crawl any day now I reckon. He's been getting on all fours for weeks now rocking back and forth and he'll pull one leg forward before falling.
He's also sleeping through pretty much now which is great. Still wakes once a night sometimes. As I said it's Jack that wakes me mostly. That first child you don't know what you are doing so they get into bad habits. Lucas is just a beautiful happy baby love him to bits as I do all of my boys.

So what about me. Well it was my 31st birthday on Tuesday. I was lucky enough to go to Sydney on Saturday for the night just with Lucas while Ben looked after Jack and Will. It was a mad dash just trying to get down there in time for my hair appointment my sister Kim had organised in Darlinghurst which was lovely. Really enjoyed the head massage could have sat there all day. Having a champagne went down really well too. Then had a nice lunch in a cafe nearby before heading back to Kim's with my other sister Lisa arriving a little later. We enjoyed a few or more glasses of champagne, a yummy Thai dinner (even though Kim only had it the night before) before trying to get to bed at a reasonable hour for me 12:30am. Had the best night just chatting, laughing, even some tears just a really nice girly night with my two favourite ladies. My sister Lisa is so funny she cracks us up.
Then enjoyed some fish and chips in the park the next day with my Mum and Dad for fathers day which was lovely even it is was a rush because it was too windy. Haven't spent Father's day with my Dad for a long time. The drive home was horrible. Took two hours to get from Kim's to the freeway so three hours in total and I was really tired. Lets just say I was glad to finally make it home.

My two sisters. You couldn't ask for two
more caring, loving, beautiful people.
Had a lovely birthday night receiving flowers, champagne and Ben cooked me a really nice dinner then we had a chocolate mud cake after which the boys enjoyed singing then digging into CHOCOLATE their favourite.

I always surprise myself when I say it's hard to remember things then once I start typing it all flows out. Although there are always things that have been funny the boys have said or done that I forget and I really want this blog be a way for me to remember them and for them to be able to read it one day so once again I must keep jotting my notes. Until next time.....

Funny little boys!

I actually started this post a month ago and haven't gotten back to completing it till now. I was really sick with tonsilitis which threw me for six and then just getting back on top of things. Also since my laptop died it's been hard to find the time because when Ben gets home takes the computer as i've 'had it all day' but don't find the time in the day for some reason. Since starting this post we've had different outings to parks and the boys spent a night away staying with their Aunty Natalie. It was the first night away for me from Will other then when I spent the nights in hospital when I had Lucas. I really did miss them it was so quiet here without them. You would think I'd have relished the quiet but I found it really strange. I think because they were so far away and I was worried how they'd go sleeping without me there. Even though I knew they'd be fine. I did enjoy being able to go back to sleep until 8am after waking early with Lucas and getting dressed was nice. Ben and I had a nice lunch on the water at Terrigal. Gee life is so much easier with one baby. Oh well one day we will be able to go out to lunch or dinner again when the boys are older.

Ben and Lucas out to lunch in Terrigal.

So mostly below is from a month ago other then one thing I added about Will.

I was sitting down to dinner with Jack and Will. Jack said if he eats all his dinner he'll grow up bigger and bigger and stronger and stronger like Mummy and Daddy. Then he started saying how I grew bigger and I was a little baby like him in Grandmas belly. We have been discussing alot the past week about him and the boys growing in my belly and about Mum and Dad growing in Grandmas and Nanna's. I said yes I was in Grandmas's belly. He then said but Aunty Kimmy wasn't. (He said this because we were talking about earlier today everyone and I said Aunty Kimmy hasn't had a baby in her tummy yet). I said yes she was and Aunty Lisa and their my sisters because we all grew in Grandmas belly. I said just like you, Will and Lucas all grew in Mummy's tummy and you have the same Mummy and Daddy so you are brothers. He then sat there for a minute thinking then said I love you and I'm your boy! He melts my heart sometimes.

Me and my gorgeous boy Jack!

I mentioned in a previous post how I think Jack would like to be a baby a little longer. Well Jack keeps saying he wants to still be my baby. He just can't help himself and keeps stealing Lucas's dummy it's become a real problem and poor little Lucas often has to go without because Jack will just steal it. We even brought a clip to attach it to Lucas but he just pulls it off. I even caught him just having a quick suck whilst it was still attached to Lucas. He has an addiction. Today he even wanted to eat Lucas's food apple pureed. It does taste nice I suppose but he just likes to act like a baby still. I wonder how much having two brothers so close and him having to grow up abit quicker plays a part. Anyway we just have to keep saying Jack your not a baby your a big boy.

This is where I found Jack asleep after stealing Lucas's dummy.

Will is so funny when he asks something or you say don't do that will he says OK. I think you have to hear him say it but he says it so cute. Jack and Will were having a bath and I popped down stairs for  minute then heard Will crying so went up there and said what's happening. Jack says I didn't do anything. I didn't actually witness anything so I just say both of you keep your hands to yourself. I decided to just stand outside the door and I was watching just around the corner. Will hadn't noticed me there. He then started to cry so I popped around the corner and said what's wrong. Will says Jack hit me and I said no he didn't I was watching. Will then starts laughing. What a cheeky little bugger. He's worked out he can get Jack into trouble if we aren't watching. Not sure who I'll believe now.

Cheeky Will!
This is something that happened the other day with Will. I picked him up from daycare and I was putting him into the car. I said something or other and called him pumpkin pie and he said I'm not pumpkin pie I'm chicken. It was quite funny. I told Jack when we picked him up and we all had a good laugh. I've been calling him chicken now.

Will dressed in Lucas's tshirt and slippers.

Lucas has just started to find his feet. He has been teething and has been abit unsettled. Not sure how much the amber beads help but I think it's worth a try. I'm not used to him crying a whole lot because he really hasn't much in the last 5mths lucky for me. He's also started being able to roll over back and forth an swivel around so one minute I look and he's somewhere then the next he's moved over the other side of the room. I do not think it will be long till this little boy is crawling.

You can see he can not wait to be chasing around with his brothers. He loves to watch them. He seems to really love Jack. I reckon because Jack spent so much time up close with him since he was born smelling him and pinching etc but Lucas never seemed bothered by it I think he just liked his attention. Tonight Lucas was lying on our bed whilst I changed him and Jack was sitting on there with us. Jack was talking to him and saying "what is that face I will have to take that worm off you",  he then pretended to grab a worm from his nose and throw it. He then said "and are you good. And your little nose and mouth and hands. Are you good". He said he was the Dr.

Lucas loves having a bath with the two brothers he adores!

How beautiful is Jack here.

It's so funny listening to Jack now the little things he makes up. His imagination is well and truely working now. He makes up funny names for things. The other morning he was saying the poximation is outside. I said what he said the poximation it's a monster. Ok! He comes up with the funnist names for things. Alot of them start with the letter T for some reason.

Jack finally did a poo on the toilet after so long of trying to convince him so he got a new big boys bike.

As for what I'm up to at the moment I'm trying to start going through different things and having abit of a clean out. Today I started with the boys toys in the loungeroom. I'm going to try to work on one room each thursday. I want to try and get rid of some things so when we move we haven't got as much stuff. Also wanted to do the toys because they have TOO much and they just end up everywhere. They just don't need as much as they have. There's alot of junky stuff though too just little bits and pieces so I've put alot of them into a box. I want to get rid of stuff before they get anything more at xmas so now is as good a time as any. Not much else happening just trying to save save save so no big outings or buying anything. Really like to be able to move before the end of the year. Desperate for a backyard for the boys.

They definately need a backyard they can tinker around in. Here they are fixing Jack's 'motorbike'.
So that is what I'd started a month ago and just didn't get back to finish and add some pics. Now I have lots of pics since then so I might just add a few extras. I hope to get back into writing regular posts again especially since we get our new laptop next week but I do think there will be a bit of a fight for the new one. I really find it hard typing on this one it's so small. Anyway better go Will is getting up to mischief whilst i'm distracted.

A weekend outing to Blacksmiths Reserve.

How lucky we are!

This blog is sort of journal for me to write down what's been happening with my family but also to write down some of what I'm feeling. It's also great to be able to look back on one day.

There are good weeks and bad weeks in parenting for everyone. It really is one of the toughest jobs you'll ever do.  It's such an enormous responsibility and can sometimes be very overwhelming. To think that your raising these little people and shaping who they become. We all want our kids to grow up to be confident and happy. I know that we want this for our boys. They mean everything to us and there is nothing we wouldn't do for them.

Jack is 4 days old.

My weeks can be very up and down. Those that I'm close to know I suffer from terrible anxiety sometimes. A couple of weeks ago I had a great week with the kids. One of those weeks where everything just runs smoothly. Everything feels easier. I manage to stick with our routines, take the boys out, get them to have their sleeps, play, get the house work done, cooked dinner and it all feels alot more effortless. Then almost feels out of nowhere my anxiety returns. When I'm feeling anxious my whole body seems to get affected I feel sick, my body feels heavy, head foggy, I'm impatient and yell more then I like or care to admit.  I can feel like this for a few days, a week or sometimes a couple of weeks. When I'm like this everything is hard and the boys seem to pick up on my energy and they play up more which only heightens my anxiety. It's very hard to shake it off. Then it just lifts I'm not even sure what changes it. When I'm at my best it really is amazing to see the difference in the boys. I've really taken notice of it a few times now so I certainly believe they're picking up on my feelings and I guess it's also that I am probably more present with them during these times when I'm feeling good.

William is 4 days old.
Not so long ago I read a book A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. For at least a week after I felt sooo great not sure I've ever felt better. The reason being is because for that time I managed to stay out of my head or out of my thoughts. It's amazing how you can feel when you stop doing this. Not easy to do but when I read this book it' like I had a brief awakening. I've been trying to get back there since. Anyway that week I could not believe the difference in the boys. We virtually had no tantrums for over a week, they were being really loving and kind to each other. Out of nowhere Jack would say I love you Mum. I believe they could sense the difference in me and they were happy. Jack has always been a very sensitive soul. Having the two parents he does one of them had to be. Jack was only 18mths old when Will was born. When I came home after he was born I had the post baby blues pretty bad for a few days and could not stop crying. I remember Jack coming up to me and giving me a cuddle and saying it's ok Mum. I believe it's unusual for child this age to do this and show real compassion like that. He's always been this way with me if I'm upset he'd come into my room and say are you ok Mum do you want a cuddle, god bless him. I reckon he'll always look out for his Mum.

Lucas is 3 days old.

So as I said that week was amazing. The reason it had such an effect on the boys is because I was being completely present with them. I wasn't thinking about anything in the past that had happened or anything in the future that might happen or what I might have to get done etc I was just purely concentrating on what was happening in the moment. It's a huge weight off your shoulders when you live this way. If you haven't read any of his books I urge you to do so. I found it a real eye opener. I honestly had never thought of living other then through my thoughts and that that's who I was what I was thinking. Anyway you should read them.

Now these last two weeks I've really struggled with the kids. Sometimes it's very overwhelming having the three of them and  trying to do everything. I am very hard on myself and worry so much whether I'm doing a good job for them. Too much thinking. I know I'm a good Mum because I care enough to keep trying and I'd never stop because we've been blessed with three of the most beautiful little boys and they mean everything to me. When I imagined my children before we had them I couldn't have imagined three more perfect boys. I really should cherish the good and bad times because one day I'll miss all their mess, demanding and fights.

Although in saying I think I'm a good Mum I didn't feel like it yesterday. I had a lady ask me in Woolworth's what Lucas's middle name was and for the life of me I couldn't think of it. How terrible is that! I just had a complete mind blank. I then ran into her in the next isle and finally I'd remembered and had to tell her and said I'm feeling like such a bad mother not even remembering my sons name. She was so nice and said she could tell I was a good Mum because Lucas is such a happy baby. Fancy not remembering your sons name though!

This week we decided to try Will two days a week at family day care. He really enjoys going and on the 2nd day that Jack goes to preschool Will was kind of bored and kept asking to pick Jack up early. It means I have a bit more time to get things done and have a little bit of me time and some more time just with Lucas. I also felt for me it would be good to have that extra day.  One day just went so quickly and I spent it just getting the groceries done and a few other things. I really just need that break from them and I'm lucky we can afford to do it. The boys are both enjoying going and then I'm abit happier from having a bit of a break. Mind you I still have Lucas with me but at the age he is he's pretty easy. Today was my first day and I've really enjoyed having the day at home with Lucas and managed to catch up on some of my housework. I felt alot more patient with the boys tonight. I think this could work for me.  Ben joked why don't I just send them all off to boarding school and be done with it. Now there's a thought!

We have three amazing little boys!!

Will turns 2!

It's taken me a while to get back to my blog since Will's 2nd Birthday as I've been feeling a little sick this week with a sore throat and very tired. When you have three little kids one must battle on so no rest for me. It's been a very full on week actually. I think the boys act up more when I'm not at my best as I'm sure they feed off my energy so it makes it that much harder when your feeling unwell. Some days I wonder how I get through the day. If myself or any of them are out of sorts it easily throws things into chaos and it's hard to get anything done. It's been that way for most of my week. I'm certainly looking forward to Wednesday and Thursday when Jack and Will go to daycare so I can have a little rest.

Happy Birthday to our beautiful Will!

Whose more excited!

Will had a nice birthday. On the actual day I took the boys for a nice morning to the park and then we had fish and chips by the water. It was quite windy and I ended up making a pig of myself and eating most of the fish and chips but the boys had fun chasing the seagulls. When I asked Will if he was having a nice birthday he said no so Jack then says well if Will says No then it is my birthday now. Unfortunately due to all the rain we didn't get to The Entrance as planned on the Sunday. We were going to take them there because they have a fair on in the park with jumping castles etc on long weekends. We ended up just at home and Aunty Kimmy and Uncle Brent coming up for lunch. The boys love having visitors so they were happy.  Poor Aunty Kimmy gets left at the sidelines when Brent is with her. She said she'll have to come alone next time to get some attention.

Since Will has turned two I'm sure the terrible twos started almost instantly. Although he has been building up to it abit of late but boy has this week been a challenge with him. The tantrums and the No's and just plain wanting his way. The constant fighting over everything between Jack and him is so terribly draining but I should get used to it because it's not going to change anytime soon. They have a million toys but ALWAYS want the same thing. Sometimes I handle these things well but this week I've had zero patience and end up yelling at the terrors boys.
Boys up to mischief!
A funny thing Will has been saying lately every time he puts on his shoes he'll say I'm a big man. Very cute! He's saying so much now. Even Nana noticed how much more he & Jack are saying since she was here only two weeks before. When I put Jack on the stairs for doing something he shouldn't Will will say sit on the stairs Jack. The other day I said Jesus Christ and the little parrot says Jesus Christ. Really need to watch what I say because now I have two copying.  He's VERY cheeky our little Will. He's also calling Jack Jacky which I love. They really grow so quickly. Will also has to carry four or more toys around with him everywhere. He sleeps with at least two teddies now and when he comes down in the morning he'll carry them both down. It's made putting him to bed easier because I'll just say teddies are ready for bed. His sleeping has still been OK although a couple of nights last week he came down but I just took him straight back up.

Jack is so fascinated with bums at the moment. Everything is look at his bum, you've got a bum and wants to take his pants off to show his bum. It's funny how they all go through this stage. We also picked up an audio tape from the library called bumageddon which is a funny story (probably doesn't help the whole obsessiveness with it) Nana put it on & it just went over Jack's head but Nana found it funny.

Our handsome spider man!
Tried to get Jack to start pooing in the toilet. He refuses to and every time he needs to poo he asks for a nappy, which I've been doing as they say not to push them into it but it's been so long we started refusing him a nappy. So he would keep asking and say I just want to do a little poo just a little bit and that's it. We had a few accidents. Even a bribe of a new bike if he poos in the toilet isn't enough. Hopefully before he starts school we'll get there.

Jack had asked for a pair of gloves for a while. I got this set gloves, hat and scarf from Coles for $5. He looks so cute.
In talking about things that Will has been copying last night Jack and Will were sitting at the kitchen table and jack was showing Will something. Nana and I were sitting at the dining table on our computers and next we hear Jack say F**cking tristi (don't know what tristi means). Diane and I just looked at each other thinking did we hear right. He then said it again just to confirm we did. I just ignore as that's what I've heard to do not to make a fuss of it. I really need to watch my own language as I'm only to blame can't blame the hubby he never swears although I think I have more to swear about having to deal with him and the kids.

They love our bed as most kids do!
Lucas our delightful little thing seems to be teething this week. The other day he just burst in to a massive cry and I've never heard him get so upset. Very hard to get panadol into him he just spits it all back out no matter how long it's been in his mouth it's like he's holding it in there till he gets the chance to spit it up again. Luckily he's still been sleeping OK. I've put on the amber beads which I'd brought for Will to wear but he didn't want to so trying them on Lucas. They're supposed to help with teething. They make the babies look abit hippyish which I think looks cute. Lucas is also starting to roll and  jabbering away abit more. I don't think it will take long for this little one to start crawling. He just wants to get up and go now to follow his brothers.

Our little hippy baby!
In other news I think we've pretty much decided we will move back up to Brisbane near where we used to live. Being away has made us realise how good the area is up there. We don't regret the move as it's all an experience and it's good to try somewhere new. We wouldn't have got to do our great camping trip we did if we didn't sell our house and move. Brisbane is just so great for kids and there is lots to do up there. There isn't much to do in Newcastle. You have to drive to Sydney which is 2hrs away if you want to head out anywhere special like the Zoo or Museum or something. Newcastle doesn't have a lot really. It does have nice beaches.  We know we want to move into a house with a backyard for the boys and my sanity but rather then move into another place here we feel better to just make the move back up there and get settled into somewhere before next year when we enrol Jack for school for the following year.

This is Wellington Point Reserve down the road from where we used to live. What's not to miss!

The only down side is moving away from my family again but we are 2hrs away so it's still abit far anyway and I don't get to see them all as much as I would have liked. I may just see them more if I was up there again anyway because if they came up at least they'd stay for a couple of days instead of a quick visit. Not easy for me to go to Sydney either really at this stage. It's always so full on for me with the packing for the boys and then staying somewhere with the three of them. I know my family and Ben's will miss being able to see the boys when they like but I think for us Brisbane is a better place to raise our family.

Hope everyone has a great week.

Inspirations!

Hi all, It is too late to write the blog I'd like at the moment for me I have quite a few new pics and things to tell you all of the week we have had last week. Especially since it was our gorgeous boy Will's 2nd B'day. I am planning to get back on here in the next day or two but for now I'm just putting a some pics up of things I've come across that I love.
This pic is from http://www.twolittledickybirdsblog.com/. Just love this wallpaper aqua/turquoise being my favourite colour. The list for things I love in this colour is endless.

Love this house. Loving the taupe colour at the moment.  Pics from http://aviewondesign.blogspot.com/.  I dream of one day again owning our own home & something like this would be amazing.

I've seen these wall plaques on a few sites now & I'm going to endeavour to make some one day soon.

Weekend with all the good things in life!

Our weekend was pretty relaxing.  I suppose if being constantly on the go looking after three boys can be called relaxing. We didn't have any plans which sometimes make for the best ones. What did you get up to?
Saturday with Ben at work I spent the morning mostly playing with the boys all the while thinking I've really got to start cleaning up soon as we had Ben's Dad and wife coming over. Jack kept saying you just play for a minute then you can go even though I'd been playing most of the morning. Had to really put my foot down for him to let me go.

We spent some of the morning watching Lucas on his jolly jumper. He really loves it now. Gives me some time to get things done too. Lucas spent his first night in his own room last night. I was abit nervous at first and kept going to check on him because I wasn't totally sure the monitor was working properly. Once he woke the first time and I knew it was working I could relax. Also got him to sleep in his Grobag which makes me feel better. I tried alittle while ago and he didn't like having it on but last night he was fine. I prefer them to wear that then using blankets because i've always worried they'll put them up over their head. It also means they can't get cold by kicking blankets off.

And the cutest baby award goes to....

Saturday night we managed to get all the kids in bed by 6pm. Record first! They missed their day sleep and were so tired so for the first time in ages I got some free time in the night before heading to bed. I spent some of that folding washing but then I was able to spend some time doing my meditation before getting to bed early.

We decided yesterday to head to the local shopping centre. Ben purchased a new wok and mortar and pestle which he used to cook a beautiful calamari dinner last night and a asian omelette. Yum! The boys had fun playing on the pirate ship play area outside whilst Dad got us a coffee from the Chocolate Bar cafe and a ymmy chocolate bread thingy. Luckily I brought a spare shirt for Will. We had a quick look in the tempin bowling ally for the kids to see. Will loved watching the kids playing especially since one of his favourite things is balls. We then headed to the National Geographic to have a look. The boys had fun in there. It was a real effort to get them to leave.

Ben had an RDO today. Love these days when I have him home to help with the boys. We had a nice breakfast together having some of Dad's home made bread. Jack announces that he loves bread, toast, chocolate, icecream and biscuits (who doesn't!). We then headed to the shops AGAIN (Ben doesn't get as stressed as me taking the boys to the shops clearly) just to get a few things for Ben to cook dinner. After full on tantrums upon leaving because Will wanted a ball (to add to his 100 others) and Jack wanted chocolate we made it home and I took Will straight to bed and for the second time I managed to get him to have his day sleep in his big boys bed. When he woke he was his old cheeky self again. He is so funny when you ask him something like why did you do that he will say Me! or what would you like Me! Very cute.

Just finished dinner then we had a delicious desert thanks to hubby again. A very yummy white chocolate panacotta or something apparently with strawberries. Now I'm sitting here writing my blog whilst the boys jump all over their Daddy and Lucas is in bed. I think Jack and Will will end up going to bed early tonight too they seem tired. Fingers crossed!

If you have the time or feel inclined leave a comment I'd love to read your notes. I'd love for my blog to be interative with others too and remember to click on FOLLOW even if we haven't spoken in a while or never have before.

Hope your having a great night!
