Weekend with all the good things in life!

Our weekend was pretty relaxing.  I suppose if being constantly on the go looking after three boys can be called relaxing. We didn't have any plans which sometimes make for the best ones. What did you get up to?
Saturday with Ben at work I spent the morning mostly playing with the boys all the while thinking I've really got to start cleaning up soon as we had Ben's Dad and wife coming over. Jack kept saying you just play for a minute then you can go even though I'd been playing most of the morning. Had to really put my foot down for him to let me go.

We spent some of the morning watching Lucas on his jolly jumper. He really loves it now. Gives me some time to get things done too. Lucas spent his first night in his own room last night. I was abit nervous at first and kept going to check on him because I wasn't totally sure the monitor was working properly. Once he woke the first time and I knew it was working I could relax. Also got him to sleep in his Grobag which makes me feel better. I tried alittle while ago and he didn't like having it on but last night he was fine. I prefer them to wear that then using blankets because i've always worried they'll put them up over their head. It also means they can't get cold by kicking blankets off.

And the cutest baby award goes to....

Saturday night we managed to get all the kids in bed by 6pm. Record first! They missed their day sleep and were so tired so for the first time in ages I got some free time in the night before heading to bed. I spent some of that folding washing but then I was able to spend some time doing my meditation before getting to bed early.

We decided yesterday to head to the local shopping centre. Ben purchased a new wok and mortar and pestle which he used to cook a beautiful calamari dinner last night and a asian omelette. Yum! The boys had fun playing on the pirate ship play area outside whilst Dad got us a coffee from the Chocolate Bar cafe and a ymmy chocolate bread thingy. Luckily I brought a spare shirt for Will. We had a quick look in the tempin bowling ally for the kids to see. Will loved watching the kids playing especially since one of his favourite things is balls. We then headed to the National Geographic to have a look. The boys had fun in there. It was a real effort to get them to leave.

Ben had an RDO today. Love these days when I have him home to help with the boys. We had a nice breakfast together having some of Dad's home made bread. Jack announces that he loves bread, toast, chocolate, icecream and biscuits (who doesn't!). We then headed to the shops AGAIN (Ben doesn't get as stressed as me taking the boys to the shops clearly) just to get a few things for Ben to cook dinner. After full on tantrums upon leaving because Will wanted a ball (to add to his 100 others) and Jack wanted chocolate we made it home and I took Will straight to bed and for the second time I managed to get him to have his day sleep in his big boys bed. When he woke he was his old cheeky self again. He is so funny when you ask him something like why did you do that he will say Me! or what would you like Me! Very cute.

Just finished dinner then we had a delicious desert thanks to hubby again. A very yummy white chocolate panacotta or something apparently with strawberries. Now I'm sitting here writing my blog whilst the boys jump all over their Daddy and Lucas is in bed. I think Jack and Will will end up going to bed early tonight too they seem tired. Fingers crossed!

If you have the time or feel inclined leave a comment I'd love to read your notes. I'd love for my blog to be interative with others too and remember to click on FOLLOW even if we haven't spoken in a while or never have before.

Hope your having a great night!
