Quick post!

I have decided I really would like to start using my blog again. Have alot of catching up to do since I last wrote. Baby number 3 has been here for 4mths now our beautiful baby Lucas. Should change my blog to then there were three boys! Some peoples blogs are so inspiring. Some people are very creative. Maybe I'd be more so if I had more time. Maybe when the boys are older. Anyway this is more a note to myself so I do start writing again because if anything it's a good record of my days spent with my favourite boys to look back on. Must go now to do some meditation which i've started doing recently. Back soon!!

Always something happening when you've got kids!

I had a very worrying week last week with Will. We went down to Sydney to stay at my Sisters place and Will was out of sorts for the few days we were there. Really clingy, whingy and not sleeping well at all. He was waking up all night for 2 nights then couple of times on the Friday. I haven't been that tired for a long time. Left there on Saturday morning heading home. I was just pulling off the M2 onto Pennant Hills Road Exit when I looked at Will he was convulsing. It took me a second to register what was happening then I pulled over onto side of road got him out and called the ambulance. Whilst talking to them he had stopped and I knew what had happened. Luckily I was only 10mins from my Sister Inlaw Natalies who is a nurse so I drove there anxiously wishing the traffic would dissappear. When we got there he had a temp of 40.2. He'd had a temp earlier in the morning & I gave him some panadol but don't know how high it was because I didn't have my thermometer. I'll be taking that away with us now. Anyway he was well for another 2 days with vomiting & diarreha. After a trip to the hospital and then the Dr I was giving a jar to get a urine sample to take back in couple of days. I was going to have to leave his nappy off & try to catch his pee. Hard task! Anyway he came good & the night after seeing the Dr he had no temp & fine since. He is teething though so he is still getting upset & waking abit. He could be getting his first molars so may be the reason he was unwell. He also had his immunisation the tuesday day before he seemed unwell. Who knows I'm just glad he is ok. Other then all this we had a nice time at my sisters. As always Jack loved visiting. Lisa is living in a great estate & now I'm resolved that I'd like to live in an estate one day because I think it's a great place to raise kids. Better start saving.

Jack is just going so well. He talks so well & constantly cracking us up. His imagination is really working great. I was in his room getting his pj's ready & listening to him playing with Woody & Buzz. He was saying don't touch me Woody & to Buzz be careful Buzz and just making up things with them.

Yesterday morning Will was still asleep & Jack wanted to go wake him. I told Jack he couldn't. He said to me you wait there holding his hand up & started walking away. I said don't go wake Will he said No I'm not then was ssshhh me walking away again I said don't go wake will he said I'm not going to wake Will then came over & stroked my hair said it's ok Mum. So funny! Then yesterday the four of us were out on the deck having an icecream & Jack started laughing at Will & said look at his face then said look at him he's excited. I think they've been learning emotions at preschool lately. This is just the latest things I can remember but he just says things all the time that surprise us.

He has grown up so much lately. He also was in our bed with Daddy the other night & I could hear them laughing. They were pretending there was a kangaroo around. Jack was saying where is he & Ben would make up where he was. They were saying ssshhh can you here him then Ben would say boung, boung so cute. His manners are really good saying thankyou and please. I'm very big on this but his preschool is too which is great. He is loving school. Everytime I pick him up his teacher said he is going really well socialising more & more with all the kids. He says bye to all the kids & a few even run over & give him a cuddle. He seems to have a few he must play with or like alot saying bye to them by name. One little girl said bye Jack yesterday & he said by didn't quite get what her name was then she gave him a cuddle. It makes me feel so good that he is loving it & going so well there. It's the best thing I could of done for him I think. He doesn't want to leave when I pick him up which is a good sign.

Pregnancy is going well still. Last few days I'm feeling half normal again. Geez I was suffering from mood swings pretty bad. Poor Ben & kids. I'm feeling ok again & not so tired & having more energy which is great when I have two little boys to care for. My hormones must have settled down abit. My stomach has really popped out now no denying I'm pregnant. Felt baby moving couple of times in last week but nothing much. Probably by next week will be a whole lot more. Can't wait to have the next scan. Having first antenatal visit next Friday.

Well Ben is trying to quit smoking & it's now been about a week. So proud of him & I really hope he can do it not only for financial reasons but for his health. I'm so glad now that I don't smoke. His coughing always worries me. He is terribly grumpy at the moment but that's to be expected. Fingers crossed for him.

Not much planned for this weekend. Jack is going to an animal farm on Saturday with Poppy & Nanna Faye which he will love. Not sure what Will & I will do yet but I'll take him somewhere even if it's just to the park for a swing. Always look forward to the weekend when I have Daddy home to help. We are hoping to go away camping maybe following weekend in our camper as we havne't been anywhere for a while & I think for Ben it would be great to get away. He has an RDO on the monday so we could go for 2 nights. Either that or we were talking about catching the train down to Sydney & taking the kids to the aquarium or something. See what happens.

Must go as Jack is starting to want my attention again. He's been playing quite happily with his donkey from Shrek. take care xxx

Busy Busy!!

Just as I'm starting this blog I was going to upload a photo I had just imported from our camera and I think I've lost the photos. It was logged onto Ben's where I imported them then I had trouble with the internet so I just down the computer and I had already unplugged the camera too. I thought they'd be where they normally go under pictures but there not so I may have lost them which is upsetting. I'll have to get Ben to log in and have a look later.

Anyway we've had a busy couple of weeks. Boys and I headed down to Sydney couple of weekends ago. We stayed at Natalie & Brad's which was great. Boys love staying there and I get to relax abit too. They are just such a help especially when I was getting ready in the morning to head to Sammy's party. Thanks for your help and Julia too.

We went to Sammy's party on the Saturday. It was good to see my family and have a nice lunch and let the boys have a run around. Jack was abit scared of the jumping castle because the kids were all abit big for him. They had a great day all the same. Mark and Kim did a great job and it was a nice day.

Last week we had my Mum, Dad and nephew Jake come and stay for a few days which was nice. Again the boys loved having the company here. They love seeing family and friends especially Jack. We had a nice few days although the weather wasn't the best so we headed to the shopping Centre one day then Mum and I headed to Belmont Hospital for my scan only for me to forget the referral so I had to rebook. Luckily the lady was kind enough to fit me in the next morning even though she doesn't normally do pregnancy ultrasounds in the morning. So Friday I headed off while Mum stayed home to look after Will who was asleep. Jack had headed down with Dad and Jake to my Aunties. Thanks Mum for helping me with the boys and cleaning at home. Even after already having 2 kids it still so amazing to see that little life inside of you moving about. It seemed to be asleep at first or having a good rest so she gave it a prod to get it moving. Boy did baby move about then. He/She was jumping all about stretching it's arms rolling around. Baby even had the hiccups it's little head kept bobbing up and down. Lady said everything looked great looks very healthy. So precious! Can't wait for the next scan to see it again and with Ben.

We had Daddy's birthday on Monday. We went to David and Fayes for lunch on Sunday which was nice. The boys also love going over there visiting. We had a lovely lunch thanks David and Faye for doing that.

Jack has grown so much lately. He is no longer seeming like my little toddler he's becoming a real little boy. His talking is so good now he can say full sentences. He's also become abit of a little mother or maybe father to Will. If Will is banging something or doing something he shouldn't Jack is saying don't do that Will no Will. The other day Will was in his high chair eating and Jack was sitting on the stairs. Will kept throwing his food and Jack was saying don't throw it Will just eat it. When Will threw it again Jack stood up and said God and put it back on then when Will went to throw it again he tuttered and said no Will. Very funny!!! I got out of the shower the other night and he said have a good shower Mum and upon me waking the other morning he said did you have a good nights sleep. He just amazes me what he can say now. He is cracking us up more and more. He is doing really well at preschool. His teacher told me yesterday that he is playing really well with all the kids and getting along with everyone he seems really settled in there now. I think he has a favourite little girl there whose name he has said a few times. Yesterday when we were leaving he was in the car saying bye kids, give them a kiss and blew a kiss then he was saying bye Grace, bye Grace. So cute!! Anyway we seem to mostly be out of the terrible twos which is great. I can reason alot better with him these days.

As for Will he is walking so well now. He is trying to talk alot more too. I was saying don't touch to him last week and he repeated it. Not super clear but he said it. He is just so cute. Yesterday he had his 1yr immunisations which wasn't nice 3 needles. He was abit out of sorts last night but had been last few days as well. I think he is getting teeth through because he has been abit grumpy and drippling alot. I had to get up abit to him last night. Hopefully he is back to his old self soon. Very tiring having a grumpy baby.

Heading off to Sydney today for a few days stay at my sisters. Looking forward to it. It's also her birthday on Friday so we will do something special. Looking forward to next week too when my dear friend Kristy and her two kids Erik and Elva come to stay for a couple of days. The kids will love that. Must go get organised to head off this morning.
